I do love teaching. Love my students. Love reading their work. But 32 students in two locations 20 miles apart who are writing three different short papers, due at roughly the same time, papers that take 20 minutes or so to grade at best...

I'm a little tired.

On the other hand, my high school kids have generated some delightful haiku on their experiences filling out forms:

Okay, you bean counters, I know these aren't strict 5-7-5. Better a brilliant irregular than a regular mediocrity.
