PS: Page me later
Seems he's on the mailing list for a certain Found Magazine--which, since it is now starting to diversify its reach and product to include books, quality fiction by founder Davy Rothbart, total quality music by expert finder and pretty-good brother to Davy, Peter Rothbart (plus his band Poem Adept), annual touring with quality acts like Devon Sproule (the sound of her amazing voice is something like a dulcimer if it could wail like a slide guitar, and no living singer I have heard has ever returned the scat-break in midsong back to its sexy roots as well as she)--might consider a rename to Found Foundation.
Well. That was Proustian.
My point? We were in attendance at one of two historic appearances by the Rothbart Freres and Sproule, at the Wonderland Ballroom up the street from us. This was all part of Found's 2005 Lone Surfer tour, an astonishing roadshow covering 51 cities in something like 60 days.
I can't give total credit on this excellent fluxus find to the inestimable S., however. Credit is also due my oldest and loveliest friend, Toethumbs (see here for a sampling of that individual's inspired prose stylings).
So peep these links I've sent you, and prosper in your Monday morning slackitude.

Grazie...grazie. I had given up all hope of seeing these guys in Big "D"on't, but, as I tend to click on every damn link you provide (can't heppit), I find their tour indeed swings nearby for an eve in November. And at one of my favorite old venues to boot. So I'm pretty happy 'bout that.
But...
The folk artist you mentioned that I didn't even know about until I began clickety-clicking and with whom I then became instantly enamored and even MORE excited about the show, well, turns out, this chick, this angel-voiced tunesmith,...
she ain't gonna be there.
So, once again, Ms. Nipplenose, thanks for nothing.
P.S. My word was "zrkrzis" which I'm pretty sure is Greek for "thanks for nothing".
