Mona's Choice
Mona is learning how to use the computer. She's intrigued by Google Image Search. This was my promise to her: choose a picture, and I'll post it. She chose this picture, resulting from the search string "Girls Regular Friends Hanging Out."While we're at it, you can now check out the blog for my spring high school English class, The American Voice: Exploration.

BTW, have you read "Property" by Valerie Martin? Another amazing short book that packs a big whallop -- and also generates a lot of discussion about the real nature of slavery in this country and how it acted upon all the "players on a personal level.
